- None
New Business:
- The 2015/2016 Gymkhana Schedule has been finalized. We are going back to one show per month for ten months with the exception of September when we always run two shows. There will not be any make up days scheduled if we are rained out. The schedule will be posted on our website (avdesertriders.org), Facebook and sent out to email contacts.
- New this year: Changes will be made to the Future Champion division this next season. The FC Division will be split into two divisions: age 16 and over/age 15 and under. Depending on the number of riders at the beginning of the year, this may change back to age 18 and over/age 17 and under.
- New this year: All riders age 10 and under will receive a belt buckle at the end of the year. The belt buckles will be awarded as long as the rider participates in at least eight (8) shows and rides at least four (4) of the runs per show.
- New this year: At the beginning of each show, the numbers 1 through 5 will be placed in a hat/box. One of the numbers will be randomly drawn and the riders in that place in each division at the end of the show will receive an award. For example, if number 3 is drawn at the beginning of the show, then the riders in 3rd place for the day, in each division, will receive the award. This will be done in place of the previous High Point Awards.
- Rick Harris is working on a flyer with the new information to be distributed via email to all members, placed at feed stores, etc.
- Sherry Harris is working on a “New Member Welcome Packet” that will contain pertinent information regarding AVDR, CGA, Patterns Rules, etc.
